Lindsay Obermeyer was born November 6, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri. As an undergraduate, she studied Art History, Printmaking, and Womens Studies in the UK before transferring to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where in 1988 she received a BFA in Fiber Arts and Art History. In 1994, she earned an MFA in Fiber Arts from the University of Washington in Seattle. She also obtained a Certificate in Basic Manuscript Editing from University of Chicagos Graham School of General Studies in 2...
